SurePore PES Cartridge Filters
The workhorse of all aqueous solution membrane filtration
Polyethersulfone (PES) membrane filter cartridges provide reliable sterilisation or product stabilisation across diverse applications, including point of use process water filtration, beverage spoilage organism removal, and final sterile filtration of pharmaceuticals products.
In beverage applications, PES membrane cartridges remove spoilage organisms that can cause turbidity and off-flavours in wines. Soft drinks and syrups, because of their high sugar content, are spoilt by Brettanomyces or Saccharomyces, and require 0.45 or 0.65 micron PES cartridge filters to ensure long bottled shelf life. Likewise spring or mineral water bottling requires 0.2 micron PES cartridge filters to ensure product shelf life.
Purified or ultrapure water is an ingredient or utility used throughout all process industries. 0.2 micron membrane cartridges are used in point of use (POU), sterile, or final filtration applications for complete microorganism removal.
