When chemical compatibility is essential

PTFE membrane filter cartridges are extensively utilised in critical liquid filtration applications, renowned for their outstanding chemical resistance and broad compatibility with aggressive solvents, acids, and bases. These filters are particularly well-suited for processes requiring sterile filtration or the removal of fine particulates, delivering absolute filtration down to 0.1 microns. Key applications include pharmaceutical API manufacturing, ophthalmic solutions, and chemical processing.

Technical Details

  • Filter Medium - Hydrophobic PTFE membrane for liquid applications

  • Filter Hardware - Available with either Polypropylene (PP) or PFA membrane support/drainage, PP/PFA core and cage 

  • Available micron ratings - 0.1µm, 0.2µm, 0.45µm, 1.0μm

  • Available lengths -  5.0" (ABO5), 10.0", 20.0", 30.0", 40"

  • Sterilizable - Steam-in-place 140℃, Autoclave 121℃

  • Maximum differential pressure - Reverse 5.2 bar @ 25℃, 1.9 bar @ 82℃

  • Quality control - 100% integrity tested; Cartridge fully traceable; All material comply with relevant CFR21 requirements: Bacteria Liquid Challenge Test TR≥1011 Full validation available upon request.

  • Available end caps - Code 7, Code 2, Code 3, Code 8, DOE. St.St insert option 

  • Available formats - Cartridge, Junior & capsule
